Algeria is the guest of honor at the Beijing International Book Fair – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

Algeria will be the guest of honor of the 29th Beijing International Book Fair in the People’s Republic of China, from 15 to 18 June, according to a statement by the Ministry of Culture, Monday.
The statement indicated that Algeria will participate in this international cultural date “through a high-level delegation from the Ministry of Culture and Arts, which includes names and balances in writing, literature and the arts, in addition to displaying a significant number of Algerian publications and books in various fields of knowledge and literature.”
And the same source stated that “the celebration of the People’s Republic of China to Algeria at the Beijing International Book Fair in its 29th edition, under the slogan (Algeria-Beijing, Forum of Culture and Civilizations) comes in the context of deepening cooperation and cultural exchange between the two countries, which reflects the depth of relations between the two countries.”
For reference, the People’s Republic of China attended the year 2018 as a guest of honor at the 23rd edition of the Algiers International Book Fair, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Sino-Algerian relations.
As a reminder, during the 29th Beijing International Book Fair in the People’s Republic of China, more than 200,000 Chinese and foreign books will be displayed, in addition to an online exhibition to display emerging forms of publishing.
