Munther Boden, Vice-President of the National People’s Assembly, attended today, Sunday, in the capital, Abidjan, an official luncheon hosted by the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire in honor of the members of the presidential troika of the Union of Councils of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which includes Algeria, Turkey and Cote d’Ivoire, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Union. Boden, head of the Council’s delegation, conveyed to the attendees the greetings of the President of the National People’s Assembly, Ibrahim Bogali, and his wishes that the work of the 49th meeting of the Union’s Executive Committee be crowned with success.
The Vice-President of the Council renewed Algeria’s permanent commitment to Islamic issues, foremost of which is the issue of Palestine, as it is the central issue of the Islamic nation, as well as its constant keenness to support mechanisms of joint Islamic action and positive participation in various activities.
