An Algerian-Turkish will to establish a comprehensive economic partnership – The Algerian Dialogue

Today, Tuesday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Ataf, received a phone call from the Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, on the occasion of his appointment to the head of the Algerian diplomacy.

In a statement by the ministry, the two ministers reviewed, during the call, the Algerian-Turkish relations based on friendship, cooperation and solidarity, as they expressed their satisfaction with the level they have reached and the dynamism that distinguishes them in light of the constant care and direct follow-up by the presidents of the two brotherly countries who are motivated by a common will to establish an economic partnership. Comprehensive and enhanced political coordination on all issues of mutual interest.

Ahmed Ataf and his Turkish counterpart also discussed the developments related to the efforts made to deal with the remnants of the devastating earthquake that struck regions in southern Turkey early last month, and Mevlut Cavusoglu renewed his gratitude to Algeria, the leadership, government and people, for the broad solidarity gift with his country in the wake of this disaster.
