An exceptional increase in the production of consumer goods during Ramadan – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryya

The Director General of Economic Control and Fraud Suppression at the Ministry of Commerce, Ahmed Makrani, revealed an exceptional increase in the production of widely consumed items during the month of Ramadan, in order to ensure abundance and supply the market with various products.

Today, Thursday, Ahmed Makrani said, in statements to the national radio, that the public authorities have taken all measures to ensure regular supply of the market with various agricultural and food products, including the approval of an exceptional increase these days in the production of widely consumed materials estimated at 1,245 tons in addition to normal production, in order to meet the growing demand. . These increases include fortified milk, as it was decided to increase production by an estimated amount of 5,000 tons of milk powder destined for the fortified milk industry at the level of 124 public and private dairies.

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, had reassured that the state “has taken all measures with regard to supplying the market in order to guard against any fluctuation in distribution or manipulation of citizens’ food.” He also called on citizens to “avoid bad consumer habits, especially waste in all its manifestations.” While congratulating the Algerians on the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan, President Tebboune called on the honest merchants and “they are the majority, especially the neighborhood merchants, to contribute, as we have entrusted them, to sow and spread the spirit of solidarity, cooperation and mercy, and to revive Algeria’s inherent values ​​​​on such occasions.”
