The Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, Ali Aoun, received today, Monday, at the Ministry’s headquarters, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to Algeria, Ramadan Al-Fayez, where the two parties discussed ways to enhance partnership and cooperation between Algeria and Tunisia in the industrial and economic field.
Where the meeting allowed to study ways and means to encourage partnership between the two countries, especially with regard to the field of pharmaceutical production, by programming a comprehensive bilateral meeting in the state of Constantine, in which all pharmaceutical dealers in both countries would gather, to enable them to know the investment opportunities offered by the regional drug market, and work on developing a strategy A joint venture aimed at developing partnership in the field of production, research and development, as well as distribution and export of pharmaceuticals.
In another context, the talks centered on cooperation opportunities offered by the field of producing components for the automotive industry, in light of the provisions of the new investment law that enshrines freedom of investment, whether it is related to foreign direct investments or mixed investments. With a better understanding of the ongoing reforms in the field of encouraging foreign investments and concluding partnerships, which strengthens and develops the subcontracting sector in the manufacture of auto components and spare parts within the framework of economic integration at the regional and continental levels.
