Yesterday evening, Sunday, the Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, Ali Aoun, made a surprise visit to the “Al-Mahrousa” oil factory, during which he gave a number of instructions related to the rehabilitation and development of the institution and taking care of the workers’ concerns.
The Minister of Industry inspected the various units of the table oil production plant and checked the stock level of products, final goods and raw materials for the production process, in order to ensure the continuous and permanent abundance of vegetable oil and to avoid the state of pressure and fluctuation in which the market may fall in the future, according to a statement of the Ministry of Industry, where he confirmed that The visit is part of the permanent watch over the abundance and supply of the national market with the necessary and widely consumed materials.
The minister, who was accompanied by the president, the general manager of the food industries complex “Agrodev” and the director of the “Mahrousa” factory, also inspected the various workshops and production units of the establishment, especially those that require maintenance and recycling operations, as he ordered the submission of a program for their rehabilitation and development and submission to the competent authorities of the ministry for study.
Ali Aoun stressed the need to expedite the process of modernizing the workshops and the central corridor by the end of this month of July, at the latest. He also listened to the concerns of the workers and gave instructions on the need to urgently take care of their professional and social concerns, and called on the workers to unite their efforts to advance the factory and raise the level of production.
