Today, Tuesday, the Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, will embark on a working visit to the Republic of Uganda, which will last for three days, at the head of an important delegation from the sector that includes the heads of general managers of the Sonatrach and Sonelgaz complexes, in addition to executives from the Ministry of Energy and Mines.
A statement by the Ministry of Energy stated that the visit comes based on the instructions of the President of the Republic, and in implementation of the decisions of the two presidents, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and the President of the Republic of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni, during the latter’s state visit to Algeria on March 11th.
It also comes within the framework of strengthening cooperation relations between Algeria and Uganda in the fields of energy and mines, as well as in various areas of common interest.
During this visit, the Minister will hold working sessions with his Ugandan counterpart and meetings with several Ugandan officials.
