The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, received today, Tuesday, at the ministry’s headquarters, a delegation from the Chinese National Chemical Engineering Company Limited “CNCEC”, led by the company’s vice president, Hu Xian Gong.
The meeting took place in the presence of the President, the General Manager of the Sonatrach Group, the President, the General Manager of the Algeria Mines Complex, the President, the General Manager of the Asmedal Complex, as well as executives from the Ministry.
The meeting was an opportunity to review the developments of the partnership file between the Chinese group, through its subsidiaries, on the one hand, and the Sonatrach complex, Asmedal and the Algerian mining complex, on the other hand, in the Integrated Phosphate Project (PPI), and infrastructure projects related to the project.
On this occasion, the minister indicated the importance of this project, through Sonatrach, the mines of Algiers and Asmedal, in valuing the creative mineral resources of wealth as well as in providing the needs of raw materials, which are involved in various industries, especially manufacturing and with high added value, stressing the need to exchange Experience, technology transfer, and training.
