Arkab supervises the signing ceremonies of two cooperation agreements with the Scientific Research Sector – Al-Hiwar Algeria

The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, accompanied by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Emerging Enterprises and Small Enterprises, supervised today, Saturday, at the level of the Research Center in Energy Semiconductor Technology “CRTSE”, the activities of signing two cooperation agreements between the energy and mining sector and the energy sector. Research.

This cooperation comes in implementation of the outcomes of the Council of Ministers held on February 05, 2023, related to the development of research in the field of solar energy storage, as well as with the aim of valuing the results of scientific research and bringing about fruitful interaction between the energy sector, mines and the scientific research sector.

The first agreement relates to the development of storage systems for renewable energies, which was concluded between the Algerian Electricity and Gas Company (Sonelgaz) on the one hand, the Research Center for Energy Semiconductor Technologies, and the Renewable Energy Development Center on the other hand.

As for the second agreement, it relates to the development of cooperation in order to value the results of research in renewable energies, especially energy storage systems, which was concluded between the Center for Research in Energy Semiconductor Technologies and the emerging institution “Optimal Solutions for Energy Transition”.
