Belabed reveals the ministry’s plan to employ 12,000 teachers to supervise school sports – Al-Hiwar Algeria

The Minister of National Education, Abdel Hakim Belaabed, met with a number of organizations accredited to parents of students, in a meeting that focused on the outputs of the Council of Ministers held recently in its part related to the sector and the exam for evaluating the gains of the primary education stage, according to what he said, today, Tuesday, in a statement by the ministry.

The statement indicated that the Minister of Education met, within the framework of media and periodic coordination with the heads of the national organizations approved for parents of students, the President of the National Federation of Associations of Parents of Pupils, Jamila Khiar, the President of the National Association of Parents of Pupils, Ahmed Khaled, and the President of the National Union of Parents of Pupils, Hamid Saadi.

During this meeting, the heads of these organizations were briefed on the outputs of the Council of Ministers held on April 16, 2023, in its part related to national education, and in particular the decision of the President of the Republic, Mr. university in specialization, and the establishment of a general directorate for school sports in the ministry.

These decisions would make it possible to “control this file in all its dimensions, make the school a reservoir of sports elites, and open new horizons for students,” as confirmed by Mr. Belabed, who also referred to other gains that will be embodied according to these decisions, at all educational and professional levels. social.

The meeting also constituted “an opportunity to present adequate and adequate explanations to them about the examination of the assessment of the achievements of the primary education stage,” as they renewed “their full, conscious and responsible involvement in order to make this project a success, which will raise the Algerian school and the educational system to higher levels,” the statement continues.

In the same context, the minister appreciated “the pivotal role played by the accredited organizations for the parents of the students in accompanying the school, informing and raising awareness about all the developments and improvements that the Algerian school is witnessing,” according to the same source.
