In the context of continuing the series of evaluation meetings for the housing sector, Minister Mohamed Tariq Belaaribi gave a number of directives to officials in order to accelerate the pace of workshops and complete the completed projects by more than 50 percent to distribute their housing on the 5th of July, on the occasion of the Independence Day.
And in the evaluation meeting held yesterday evening, Tuesday, dedicated to the wilayas of Blida, Boumerdes, Medea and Bordj Bou Arreridj, in the presence of housing directors, directors of offices of promotion and real estate management, directors of urbanization, architecture and construction of the aforementioned wilayas, and after reviewing the figures for each wilaya and analyzing them with regard to the pace of completion of housing Belaribi gave special instructions to each state regarding the delayed programs, in addition to the instructions given in previous meetings.
A statement by the Ministry of Housing stated that Minister Belaribi insisted on accelerating the settlement of rural housing at the state level and imposing procedures that include accelerating billing for works and comparing it to the completion rate, while assigning the general inspectorate at the ministry level to closely monitor this file. He also ordered the acceleration of the process of completing projects that exceeded 50% to be delivered on the next July 05, which is the instruction that also pertains to completed housing and preparation works in progress.
Belaribi emphasized the enumeration of all the assembled residential complexes that require works to be connected to various networks, and this is off-site, and the evaluation of the necessary financial shares for the required works, and holding the construction managers responsible for the process of connecting the various off-site networks with regard to the housing that will be completed and scheduled to be delivered on the 5th of next July.
On the other hand, the Minister of Housing instructed the housing managers, in coordination with the local authorities, to speed up the preparation of lists of subsidized Tarqawi housing on the one hand, and to settle real estate files and issue building permits on the other hand, recalling the need for coordination between the various managers of the sector, and this is for the smooth progress of the completion process, while noting the tasks entrusted to it. For each of them, according to the executive decree that provides for this.
