National voter Djamel Belmadi expressed his pride in the honor he received from the People’s National Army, which he considered an honor and a heavy responsibility.
In an interview published in the December issue of the Army magazine, Belmadi said that he was very honored by the honor he received from the People’s National Army, “but at the same time it is a heavy responsibility to continue to do my best at the helm of the national team in order to achieve the goals we have set.”
The same spokesman confirmed that he has an emotional relationship with the National Liberation Front team and has unparalleled respect for it, adding: “Algeria remains the country of football, and no one can say otherwise.”
Belmadi stressed that Algerian clubs “are always required to invest in training, as long as it comes to an inexhaustible investment that guarantees a promising future.”
He added, “The talent is present here, but football needs basic work, structuring, organizing, supervising and stability. Our clubs are required to always invest in training as long as it is related to an inexhaustible investment that guarantees a promising future.”
And he continued to say: “Personally, I am a graduate of a French training school, like many players who defended wholeheartedly and strongly for the national colors and will continue to do so in the future.”
Before concluding: “For my part, I have tried hard since 2018, with all humility, to contribute to building the national team. I am challenged by the will and hope to advance Algerian football through our national team.”
Qatar World Cup
Regarding the Qatar 2022 World Cup, Belmadi stressed that “the State of Qatar has proven its worth and ability to organize the World Cup even before the start of the competition, and the 2022 World Cup will remain firmly in our memory for a long time.”
