Belmahdi orders the distribution of zakat to those who deserve it before Ramadan – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryya

The Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Youssef Belmehdi, gave a set of directives to the ministry’s executives regarding good preparation for the blessed month of Ramadan from all religious and social solidarity aspects, as he met with them to set the program for the holy month.

And during a meeting of the executives in order to adjust the program for the blessed month of Ramadan 1444 AH‍ / 2023 AD, Belmahdi ordered the completion of procedures for distributing the proceeds of the twenty-first campaign of the Zakat Fund to those who deserve it before the blessed month of Ramadan, and preparing for the distribution of Zakat Al-Fitr at its end in the field of social work carried out by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments.

Youssef Belmehdi directed the completion of the control of the program that was underlined, with the need to provide all conditions for its embodiment tightly, and to provide the faith and spiritual atmosphere for that according to the fields of activity, as he directed in the field of religious rituals to prepare well for organizing the Night of Doubt and monitoring the crescent of the holy month of Ramadan, according to a statement by the Ministry.

In the field of religious guidance and mosque activity, he directed care to complete the necessary procedures to frame mosques for Tarawih prayers, while taking care of women’s guidance. National solidarity, and encourage young people in particular. In addition to controlling a program for distributing the Holy Qur’an, as well as the Braille Qur’an, embodying the directives of the President of the Republic. In the field of Islamic culture, he directed the revitalization of Islamic cultural centers and the organization of scientific convoys to some states during the month of Ramadan.
