The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Ataf, agreed with his counterpart, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, Sameh Shoukry, today, Wednesday, to continue efforts to advance the mechanisms of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and to enhance consultation and coordination between them at all levels in order to achieve the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples and value their common interests.
According to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Ataf, received a phone call from his brother, who congratulated him on his appointment by the President of the Republic at the head of Algerian diplomacy, wishing him success in performing his duties.
The two ministers reviewed various aspects of brotherly relations and cooperation between the two brotherly countries and ways to upgrade them to broader levels, as well as exchanged visions on issues of common interest at the regional and international levels, especially those related to the Arab region and its main issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause.
