️ Ibrahim Bougali, President of the National People’s Assembly, affirmed today, Wednesday, that the parties to the democratic equation in Algeria have common points that make them united in the face of fundamental issues, especially with regard to positions on international issues and foreign relations. And during a speech he delivered, during the inauguration of a parliamentary day on the role of the opposition in Algeria, Boghali considered that every step to invest in democracy is evidence of awareness of the inevitability of exchanging roles in the political system. And the Speaker of the Council went on in the same context, explaining that the people’s approval of the constitution and the representation the opposition won in the parliamentary and local elections was evidence of the sincerity of the political will to enshrine the law and harmony with the discourse, and added by saying that the role played by the positive opposition contributed to communication, integration and correcting mistakes. .

Boghali continued in this direction, appreciating the harmony and consistency of the work of the representatives of the National People’s Assembly, despite the divergence of visions and perceptions at times, and considered these practices civilized behavior that reflects a high level of awareness and a strong indication of the size of the steps that Algeria has taken in the path of democracy and acceptance of difference and other opinion.

️By the way, the President of the Council called for giving priority to the higher interests of the country in light of Algeria’s openness to the world and its endeavor to regain its pioneering role, stressing that this stage, with what it represents of transformation and renewal, calls for a lot of understanding, in view of what the world is witnessing from the struggle, especially against the defenders of just causes.

With regard to the role assigned to the opposition, Boghali pointed out the necessity of listening to the other voice as a factor of diversity and enrichment.
