Ibrahim Bogali, President of the National People’s Assembly, supervised today, Sunday, the inauguration of the new medical and social center, which was recently set up at the headquarters of the Assembly, in the presence of a number of vice-presidents, as well as the head of the Health, Labor, Social Affairs and Vocational Training Committee.
The Chairman of the Council reviewed the various medical departments in this center, which include a department for general medicine, a department for dental surgery and another for nursing. It is equipped with modern medical equipment and is staffed by qualified medical and paramedical staff.
The rehabilitation of this health facility aims to ensure optimal care for the deputies and staff who will benefit from medical examinations, treatment and nursing services in accordance with the health protocols in force.
The President of the Council stressed the need to preserve this medical facility and urged the provision of a qualitative level of health services, stressing at the same time his keenness to provide more modern equipment and medical supplies if necessary.
The new look of the Social Medical Center was well received by its employees, who appreciated the initiative of the President of the Council to rehabilitate it.
This inspection visit was also an opportunity for the President of the Council to stand on behalf of the Directorate of Social Activity, for which a pavilion was set up inside the center. He listened, by the way, to a presentation about its work in the field of supervising activities related to social work, as well as its advanced system in dealing with medical files.
It is noteworthy that the President of the Council had inspected, after that, the postal agency, which was recently reconfigured, and also inspected the old headquarters of the medical center, which is expected to be reconfigured and equipped to be a headquarters for another activity.
