Boghali: The absence of societal security is the peak of the scourge – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

The President of the National People’s Assembly, Ibrahim Bougali, considered that the Algerian society, as a Muslim society, is aware of the importance of the issue of societal security, the absence of which is the summit of calamity, adding that it is one of the most important pillars of national security.

Ibrahim Bogali said, today, Tuesday, during a parliamentary day on “Societal security in Algeria, the reality of the threat and confrontation strategies,” that while public security means achieving sovereignty on the ground and confronting the external enemy that threatens the nation’s entity and seeks to control and occupy it, then community security is aimed at achieving it. Immunity and human liberation from every fear, and even liberation from the deadly trinity (poverty, ignorance and disease), considering that the state takes over this matter through preparing programs and curricula, completing projects, and increasing production is not enough because work is a societal work in which everyone participates, institutions, organizations, elites and individuals .

Boghali added that Algeria is safe today thanks to its loyal men and women, and thanks to its institutions that watch over its security and stability, and thanks to the political will whose features have emerged clearly in societal life, realizing the value of security and its role in preserving a cohesive society in light of the national unity that is full of the diversity of its components, and the integration of its elements. Therefore, Programs have been prepared to preserve its security, fortify its pillars, and protect it from all penetration attempts by forces working to dismantle societies, strike their stability, and undermine their security.

Boghali added that societal security is everything related to society, and it includes all types of security that should be achieved in society, including food security, intellectual security, security over identity, security over the privacy of society, and everything related to the availability of societal reassurance, production, and learning. Creativity, development, and progress all require a safe and stable environment.
