The Director General of the Algerian Authority for Accreditation “Algerac” Noureddine Boudissa said that the international accreditation of the body by international bodies on February 23, 2023 is an economic and sovereign gain to protect and promote the Algerian product and ensure its presence in foreign markets.
During his appearance today, Sunday, on the waves of the first national radio channel, Noureddine Bodisa appreciated Executive Decree No. 23-74 of February 20, 2023 specifying the conditions for importing cars less than 03 years old, especially after the recorded inability to meet citizens’ requests to own cars.
Boudissa called on the guardianship authorities to provide accredited laboratories for quality control and to ensure the safety and quality of cars imported from abroad or those manufactured in Algeria, especially since Algeria imports large quantities of auto spare parts, whose financial value in hard currency amounted to about one billion and 200 million dollars for various types.
The Director General of the Algerian Accreditation Authority “Algerac” explained the authority’s readiness to accompany the state in building the pyramid of quality in Algeria and investing in this field in light of the desire of many countries to invest, such as (Germany, Turkey…) to improve the national product and contribute to economic development.
