“Cameroonian-Algerian” Business Council between the Algerian Chamber and its Cameroonian counterpart – Al-Hiwar Algeria

The Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the General Confederation of Algerian Enterprises, organized the movement of a delegation of Algerian businessmen to the State of Cameroon from January 23 to 28, 2023. Partnership opportunities between economic operators and their Cameroonian counterparts, and exploring the potential of the African market. More than 30 public and private companies active in various fields, including “food industry, construction, public works, pharmaceutical industry, home and electronic appliances, participated in this economic mission.” wood..etc

The work of this mission organized the holding of a series of interviews with the Cameroonian Prime Minister and ministers from various sectors in the capital “Yaoundé” as well as the organization of an Algerian-Cameroonian economic forum in the economic capital “Douala”.

This visit culminated in the signing of an agreement establishing an Algerian-Cameroonian business council between the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Crafts of the State of Cameroon. This agreement was signed by Kamal Hamni, President of the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and his Cameroonian counterpart, Christophe Aiken. And in the presence of His Excellency the Ambassador of Algeria to the State of Cameroon “Boumedienne Mahi”
