The Doha Film Institute has released the film experts who will participate in the Qumra Film Forum in Doha, Qatar. The announcement of the list of experts came on the sidelines of the Berlin International Film Festival 2023.

And in a statement, the Doha Film Institute – a copy of which Al Dialogue received – announced the list of Qumra experts this year, and it includes the British novelist, screenwriter and director. Sir Christopher Hampton Winner of Oscars and BAFTA Awards (The Parent, Dangerous Liaisons, Atonement); AndDavid Parfitt Oscar-winning theatre, film and television producer (The Parent, Shakespeare in Love, My Week with Marilyn, Vincent’s Lover); AndJacqueline West the four-Oscar-nominated fashion designer (Dune, The Revenant, The Perplexing Case of Benjamin Button); and Scottish filmmaker Lynn Ramsey Cannes winner (We Gotta Talk About Kevin, You’ve Never Been Here, The Ratcatcher); And the famous British filmmaker Michael Winterbottom Winner of the Golden Bear and Silver Bear awards at the Berlin Film Festival (The Road to Guantanamo, A Mighty Heart, Welcome to Sarajevo).

Experts will provide seminars for emerging filmmakers from the region and the world, an opportunity for creative development, and important mentorship. Within detailed training programs led by international film experts, as well as meetings with industry professionals from March 10 to 15, 2023.
