Civil Protection: 9 people died and 560 others were injured during the days of Eid al-Adha – Al-Hiwar Algeria

9 people were killed and 560 others were injured of varying severity after 425 traffic accidents were recorded in several regions of the country, during the days of Eid al-Adha, according to a toll reported today, Saturday, by the civil protection services.
The same source stated that 3 people died and 207 others were injured in 132 traffic accidents during the last 24 hours in separate parts of the country. On the other hand, the Civil Protection enlisted to combat 15 fires (forests, jungles and agricultural crops) that broke out during the past 24 hours in the wilayas of Saida, Ain Temouchent, Tiaret, Constantine, Oran, Tlemcen, Oum El Bouaghi, Sidi Bel Abbes, Relizane, Ain Defla, Skikda and Naama. .
In this context, it was noted that the activation of the warning and vigilance system, as well as the element of proactivity, “allowed the mobilization of the necessary material and human means to eliminate these fires and prevent their spread to the rest of the vegetation cover.”
