Distribution of the first copies of the Holy Quran in Braille – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

Today, Tuesday, the Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Youssef Belmehdi, in Dar Al-Imam in Mohammedia, supervised the distribution of the first copies of the Algiers Quran in Braille, which will be distributed free of charge inside and outside Algeria for the blind.

Belmehdi officially announced the distribution of the Algerian Qur’an in Braille, in the presence of the Minister of National Education, the Minister of Vocational Training and Apprenticeship, the Minister of Culture and Arts and the Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Issues. Qur’anic schools in some states, as well as the national library, provided that the distribution of the Qur’an will be circulated free of charge to all who need it, and the distribution of this Qur’an will also be circulated to African countries and to our expatriate community through the Great Mosque of Paris.

By the way, Youssef Belmehdi stressed that the release of the Algerian Mushaf in Braille shows the extent of this nation’s care for the Qur’an, and the minister affirmed the endeavor to sponsor this group and accompany them in their work, diligence, studies, training, in their universities, in their schools, and in all cultural centers in Algeria. Adding that this Quran is a gift that is given free of charge to everyone in need, and it will be distributed in France, Africa, and Arab and Islamic countries.
