El Kookie: The Sun Downs are a strong team and we made mistakes that cost us defeat – Al Hewar Al Jazeera

Belouizdad youth coach, Nabil El Kouki, held his press conference today, Saturday, following the youth match after losing against the South African Mamelodi Sundowns team.

Al-Koki attributed the defeat to the South African Sun Downs, to the strength of the latter, and the mistakes his team committed. Al-Koki stated, in: “We played against a very strong team, and it has several international players.”

He also added: “We conceded a goal in the first five minutes, which affected the morale of our players, and cost us a second goal, despite that we managed to reduce the difference before the end of the first half.”

And the youth coach added, “We have to admit that the opponent was at a very good level, and we committed several mistakes that cost us a severe defeat.”

And Nabil Al-Koki was tired: “It is true that things will be difficult in the return match in South Africa, but we will do our best to appear in a better way.”
