Hamas expresses its concern about the situation in Sudan – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

In a statement, the Movement Society for Peace expressed its deep concern about the unfortunate developments of the bloody events in the brotherly state of Sudan between the Sudanese army forces on the one hand and the Rapid Support Forces on the other hand, after the failure of dialogue efforts between the two parties.

And the Movement of Society for Peace highlighted in a statement that the warring parties must cease fire in this holy month and spare the country a civil war that will have repercussions not only for Sudan but for the region as a whole.

In its statement, the same movement emphasized the rapid and urgent return to the dialogue table between the two parties, as it is the most effective and safest way to resolve differences in a country where conflicts have not subsided since the recent coup, with the need to expand the dialogue to include all parties and restore the word to the Sudanese people to choose their rulers and representatives.

Hamas highlighted the need to protect civilians, the responsibility of the two conflicting parties, especially since the field of fighting is taking place in the heart of cities and streets, and in light of the use of all kinds of weapons to resolve the battle, in light of the state of indifference and turning a blind eye on the part of Arab and Islamic countries that have not presented to date any initiative for the stability and unity of Sudan. .

The movement called on the wise in brotherly Sudan, other than the two parties involved in the fighting, to intervene to discourage the wrestlers from ruling by arms, to the need to show wisdom, prudence and deliberation in resolving differences at the dialogue tables and not in the fields of fighting and warfare.

In a statement, the Movement of the Society for Peace urged the international community to shoulder the responsibility of urgent intervention through diplomatic mechanisms for a cease-fire between the two parties, in order to end the tension in the most important and sensitive regions of the African continent.
