Hamzawy calls for protecting young people from drugs – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

The Commander-in-Chief of the Algerian Islamic Scouts, Abderrahmane Hamzaoui, called today, Saturday in Algiers, to protect young people from campaigns targeting them through drugs, stressing that this segment is “the safety valve for the development and stability of the country.”
Mr. Hamzaoui said during the work of the Wilayat Algiers Conference, in preparation for the 13th National Conference of the Algerian Peace Scouts, that “the stability and growth of the country can only be achieved by preserving and protecting the youth from the enemies of the homeland who target this social segment by promoting these dangerous toxins among you.”
In this regard, he pointed out that the Scout Organization is “aware of these risks and is working to instill the values ​​of patriotism among young people through the educational curricula it offers, as well as awareness campaigns.”
Mr. Hamzawy explained that the organization’s 13th conference will be “a station for renewing the covenant in the service of the homeland and the nation”, given that the Islamic Scouts – as he said – “contributed to instilling the values ​​of patriotism away from all partisan tensions.”
On the other hand, regarding the list of the European Parliament on Algeria, Mr. Hamzawy considered that it bears “malicious intentions to tarnish the image of Algeria, but our country always remains disobedient to its enemies, no matter how they try to provoke it and no matter the size of these conspiracies,” recalling what the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdel Majeed said Tebboune, that “the unity of Algerians remains the safety valve and the best response to them.”
