In an official correspondence… Al-Kaf clarifies regarding the players of Al-Shan – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazairia

The Competitions Committee of the Confederation of African Football announced through an official correspondence that every player who was registered in a local team in his country before the start of the Total Energy 2022 African Nations Championship is eligible to participate in the matter.

According to the same source, every player can continue to participate in the matter, even if he moves to a non-local team, and this is during the tournament period and until its end.

CAF indicated in the same correspondence that standing against the transfer of local African players directly contradicts the main objective for which this competition was launched, which is to upgrade the level of the local player in the continent.

Accordingly, the player of the local national team, Ahmed Qandousi, who recently moved to the Egyptian club Al-Ahly, will be able to continue his adventure with the Greens in the competition.
