The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Wilayat of Algiers and the Government of Moscow comes within the framework of strengthening the bonds of friendship and bilateral cooperation between Algeria and Russia, and within the framework of the existing decentralized cooperation relations between the two countries, as it aims to establish cooperation and partnership activities through the exchange of experiences and knowledge, affecting several sectors and areas, most notably: digitization and innovation , environmental protection and waste management, urban transport, restoration of old buildings, education, youth and sports, culture and tourism and other fields.
