Today, Tuesday, the Minister of Culture and Arts, Souria Moulouji, participated in the National People’s Assembly in a symposium on “The Reality of Readability in Algeria and its Role in the Desired Revival”, under the supervision of the President of the Assembly, Brahim Bougali, and in the presence of members of the government, state executives from various institutions and parliamentarians.
On the occasion, the Minister, accompanied by the President of the National People’s Assembly, honored the novelist “Ezzedine Jalawji” after winning the “Katara” Prize for Arabic Fiction in the eighth session of the award, the results of which were announced from the headquarters of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in the French capital, Paris. For the first time in the history of the Arab Novel Awards.
The program of this symposium, after its inauguration by the President of the National People’s Assembly, included a reportage on the Parliamentary Library and four lectures on the subject by professors and specialists in the field, in addition to honoring the most prominent pioneers of the National People’s Assembly Library.
