The head of the Supreme Islamic Council, Bouabdallah Ghulamallah, received a delegation of academics from the Swiss University of Fribourg, who is visiting Algeria.
In a statement by the Council, it was stated that this meeting included presenting explanations about the role, tasks and projects of the Supreme Islamic Council to the Swiss scientific delegation.
The statement indicated that the members of the Swiss scientific delegation expressed their “admiration for the culture and landmarks of Algeria, especially in the states they visited, and this is related to the states of Annaba, Souk Ahras, Constantine and Algiers.
It was reported that this meeting also dealt with “the possibility of strengthening cultural relations between the Council and Swiss scientific institutions.”
