Kais Said: President Tebboune presided over the Arab summit with a high spirit of responsibility – the Algerian dialogue

Tunisian President Kais Saied praised the efforts of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, during his presidency of the 31st Arab Summit, whose fruits were embodied in achieving Arab reunification.

Today, Friday, the Tunisian President said, during his speech at the opening of the 32nd Arab Summit, “I thank my brother, His Excellency President Abdel Majid Tebboune, President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, for presiding over the summit with a high spirit of responsibility in reunification, and praise be to God Almighty that the reunion took place.”

The praise comes for the efforts of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, which multiplied during his presidency of the Arab Summit since the beginning of November 2022, after it was embodied on the ground represented by Syria’s restoration of its seat in the League of Arab States, which Algeria sought for over many months after the suspension of Syria’s membership continued. For more than a decade, no Arab country adopted this endeavor, but it supported Algeria in these efforts until this return was officially achieved by a speech by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad today from the Council of the League of Arab States.
