Today, Lieutenant General Al-Said Chanegriha visited the Algerian Naval Base, where he supervised, accompanied by Major General Mahfouz bin Maddah, the inauguration of the circumnavigation of the high seas “Al-Mustadi”, as well as the inspection and examination of this new ship with which our naval forces were supported, as the first team toured the various sections of the ship, He looked closely at all its parts, and listened to detailed explanations about its functions, components, and characteristics, given to him by the captain of the board, as well as by members of the ship’s crew.
On this occasion, the team provided the first instructions and directives to the leadership and members of the crew of the high seas circumnavigation, “The Challenger”, related to the necessity of preserving it, maintaining it, and exploiting it with the required effectiveness. In turn, the ship’s crew members expressed their happiness and pride in this achievement, which will constitute a qualitative addition to the Algerian Navy’s fleet.
At the end of the visit, the Lieutenant General took the first souvenir photo with the first squad of the high seas cruiser crew “The Defender”.
