After the reception ceremony, and in the presence of the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defense, the Commander of the First Military Region, the Head of the Signal and Command and Control Systems Department, as well as the heads of departments, brigade officers and generals from the Ministry of National Defense and the People’s National Army Staff, the Lieutenant General followed the first presentation on the various educational and institutional aspects of this ancient training institution, Presented by the school leader, before he closely examined the training structures that are available to them, especially the educational laboratories and the Education Directorate for Information and Leadership Systems, as well as his follow-up to a presentation on end-of-training projects for working officer students.
Subsequently, the Lieutenant General met with the executives, employees and interns of the High School of Signal, where he delivered an orientation speech, which he followed through the remote lecture technique, the executives of the Signal Corps in all military aspects, through which he emphasized the utmost importance that the High Command of People’s National Army attaches to the Signal Corps, He played a key role in coordinating actions and leading operations during the victorious liberation revolution:
“The High Command of People’s National Army attaches utmost importance to the Signal Corps, given the vital role it plays in times of peace and war.
The communications sector represented, despite the lack of capabilities and the simplicity and modesty of equipment, the backbone of the blessed liberation revolution, and thanks to the will of the men who watched over it, it was like the sense of hearing through which the revolutionaries sensed the movements of their enemies, everywhere in the vast land of Algeria, and through which they coordinated their actions and led their operations with success.
Growing up took place in the arms of the revolution, and the care and development was thanks to the first generation in the People’s National Army, who made tremendous efforts to grant this weapon all the human, material and equipment qualifications that help it to perform the sensitive tasks entrusted to it.
The first team stressed the keenness of the High Command of People’s National Army to upgrade this weapon in line with the rapid pace of developments known to communications in the world, and this by providing all the necessary human, equipment and management requirements.
Today, more than ever, we are keen on upgrading this vital weapon to a level that is in line with the rapid pace of developments in communications in our world today.
It is a task that we are very keen, under the leadership, support and directives of the President of the Republic, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the Minister of National Defense, to complete it with firmness and seriousness by the specialists, who have modern and high-tech equipment in their possession, which requires special care in terms of maintenance and good Exploitation, and in terms of adequate control over its advanced technologies, which is mainly related to the level of training and qualification of the executives and the personnel working on them.
In this particular regard, I am keen to emphasize the strong and mutual relationship between the endeavor of education and training on the one hand, and the endeavor of combat preparation on the other hand.
The level of combat preparation is a natural and logical consequence of the level of education and training received. Hence, the leaders of the training institutions at all levels must take into account this aspect and benefit from the field experiences of the units, and always work, in coordination with the concerned central structures, to include the appropriate and necessary adjustments to the Contents and enrichment of training programmes.
At the end of the meeting, the Lieutenant General gave the first set of directives to the officials and executives of this sensitive weapon within the battle strength of the People’s National Army, stressing the duty to preserve the equipment and equipment present in the Hawza, and to intensify efforts to ensure an optimal performance of the assigned tasks.
