Lieutenant General Chanegriha on a working visit to the Algerian Naval Forces Command – Al-Hiwar

The Chief of Staff of People’s National Army, Lieutenant General Saïd Chanegriha, paid today, Thursday, a working visit to the Naval Forces Command and the Algiers Naval Base, during which he delivered a guiding speech in which he affirmed that the army made giant steps on the path of building a modern and professional army.

According to a statement by the Ministry of National Defense, Lieutenant General Chanegriha started his visit from the headquarters of the Naval Forces Command by standing a pause of mercy for the soul of the heroic martyr Soueidani Boujemaa, whose name bears the headquarters of the Naval Forces Command. In it, he said, “We have taken giant steps in the People’s National Army on the path of building a modern and professional army.” He added that the army’s supreme command, pursuant to the directives of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has been keen in recent years to equip the army with modern means and equipment that keep pace with developments in this field. Stressing that “the acquisition of the cruise of the high seas” Al-Mustadi “is part of a well-studied strategy aimed at modernizing and modernizing the Algerian naval fleet and raising the defense capabilities of the army.”
