Lieutenant General Said Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of People’s National Army, paid today, Wednesday, a visit to the main naval base of Mers-el-Kebir in the 2nd Military Region in Oran.
Lieutenant General Al-Said Chanegriha was closely acquainted with the professional and life conditions of the employees, and also supervised the inauguration of new workshops for the Marine Construction and Repair Corporation at the same base, according to a statement by the Ministry of National Defense.
The source added that the Chief of Staff of People’s National Army followed the various stages related to the construction of the first locomotives manufactured at the level of marine construction and repair, and also gave directives and instructions related in particular to the need to preserve these important gains and work to perform the tasks entrusted to them with all sincerity, seriousness and dedication, in the service of the higher interests of the country.
