Minister of Communication: Training journalists is no longer an option and the president supports it – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

The Minister of Communication, Mohamed Bouslimani, affirmed that the training of journalists is no longer an option, but has become an urgent necessity, referring to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s absolute support for training.

Today, Thursday, during his supervision of the launch of the activities of the fifth training course on institutional communication at the Andalusian Studies Center in Tlemcen, Mohamed Bouslimani said, “The President of the Republic absolutely supports the process of training journalists and strengthening their capabilities to improve their performance in accompanying the growing development of the new Algeria, and keeping pace with the world of digitization and artificial intelligence.” He added that “training is no longer an option, but has become an urgent necessity.”

The Minister of Communication congratulated the affiliates of the media and communication sector on the occasion of International Women’s Day, and confirmed that this training course on institutional communication in Tlemcen also benefits media professionals and communication cells in the wilayas: Sidi Bel Abbes, Ain Timouchent, Saida, El Bayadh, Naama. It will also be completed later, a generalization of interest and motivation for the national media, especially the local and neighboring ones, as well as in order to ensure a smooth communication relationship between the administration and the citizen and to accompany development programs professionally.
