Finance Minister Aziz Fayed revealed that the Bank of Algeria is in the process of studying to raise the travel grant during a public session in which it responded to the concerns of the National People’s Assembly deputies.
The minister stated that the Bank of Algeria is in the process of developing the application texts related to the establishment and functioning of exchange offices, and they will be ready as soon as the monetary and banking law enters into force.
He assured Aziz Fayed that this step will allow the opening of offices in various strategic points such as airports, ports, and tourist areas, in addition to various cities and states, in order to facilitate the attraction of hard currency.
