The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamal Badari, announced in Oran that about 560 projects for university students are eligible to be an emerging institution, which will contribute to creating economic and social dynamics at the national level.
On the sidelines of his visit, accompanied by the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Emerging Enterprises and Small Enterprises, Yassine El Mahdi Walid, and Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Karim Bibi Triki, to an exhibition of emerging project models in the universities of Oran and their national and higher schools at the University of Oran-2 “Mohamed Ben Ahmed”, Badari declared to the press that about 560 university projects “will be accompanied by all means in order to transform ideas into a marketable product that contributes to creating an important dynamism and contributes to the development of the national economy.”
Badari pointed out that the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, start-ups and small enterprises with all their structures – in accordance with the existing cooperation with the higher education and scientific research sector – “will accompany these students in order to transform their innovative ideas into a marketable product.”
For his part, the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Emerging Enterprises and Small Enterprises stressed the importance of encouraging the spirit of entrepreneurship among young people and encouraging their innovative ideas and projects.
In this regard, he mentioned that there is great cooperation between his ministerial department and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in order to encourage and accompany graduate students in establishing their emerging institutions and enabling them to contribute to the creation of jobs and wealth.
In this regard, he said: “The universities of Oran are a reservoir of innovative ideas and projects of emerging institutions, and they have important experiences in this field, and we came today to listen to creative youth and pay attention to their concerns.”
As for the Minister of Post and Telecommunications, he emphasized the importance of emerging institutions in developing economic sectors, especially space communications.
