Yesterday, the Minister of Culture and Arts, Suriya Moulouji, held a meeting with members of the National Council for Literature and Arts at the new headquarters of the Council in the Diwan of Riyadh Al-Fateh.
Minister Soria Moulouji first commended the active role and effort made by the Council, and its noble tasks that are in the process of improving and promoting the cultural and artistic scene in Algeria.
The Minister also stressed the importance of fully engaging in the process of completing the technical and artistic aspects related to setting the general framework for the artist’s law in Algeria, by regulating the artists’ code, and establishing the artist’s ethics, especially after the recent ministerial instruction that stipulates the prohibition of programming and broadcasting vulgar songs in all cultural events, in addition to To participate in the open discussion about improving the socio-professional status of artists in various disciplines, and this is in accordance with the recommendations of the President of the Republic, Mr. “Abdul Majid Tabun.”
