Mourad: There must be a new vision to generalize development in the country – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

The Minister of the Interior, Local Communities and Urban Development, Ibrahim Mourad, confirmed today, Thursday, that the government’s meeting with the governors, which was consecrated by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, establishes harmonious work and continuous coordination between public authorities at the central and local levels.

In his speech on the occasion of the government’s meeting with governors at the Palace of Nations, Murad stressed that this meeting “is consecrated as a new tradition by the President of the Republic that would unify visions and intensify efforts to achieve greater efficiency in implementing public policies, especially those related to local social and economic development, which will inevitably reflect on Optimum care for the requirements and aspirations of citizens.” He highlighted that the President of the Republic “made these aspirations goals that he committed to achieve.” This requires, as he said, “a new vision to generalize development across all parts of the country.” According to the minister’s statements, the President approved a pragmatic approach that adopts planning with goals. And evaluation of the results and continuous follow-up of the pace of development and the extent of the actual implementation of the instructions and measures taken and measuring their impact in reality.

Mourad focused on “the attention given by the President of the Republic to the development of some wilayas that are still suffering from a delay in the development path, such as the states of Tissemsilt and Khenchela,” stressing that the public authorities “continue to implement public investment programs funded by the state budget, which have contributed to improving conditions.” The minister indicated that the governors of the republic “presented an interim assessment of the level of sponsorship under the directives of the President of the Republic, while continuing to count the deficiencies and differences recorded in some regions and taking care of them as a priority and continuing to include them in the regular development programs starting from the current year.”
