National sessions of the cinematographic industry

Yesterday, the Minister of Culture and Arts supervised, at the International Conference Center Abdellatif Rahal in Algiers, the national sessions on the policy of the cinematographic industry in Algeria, in the presence of ministers, officials and filmmakers.

The Minister of Culture and Arts, Soriya Moulouji, appreciated the national sessions of the cinematographic industry, which were hosted by several states, and expressed her hopes that the meeting would be a good start for the cinematic sector.

In her opening speech, Maulouji considered that cinema is a symbol of sovereignty and identity, and that is why the President of the Republic, Mr.

And the minister stated that: “I followed all the regional meetings, and all the concerns and concerns of the cinema people were recorded, and I, along with the experts, realize these concerns, and the ministry is committed to supporting filmmakers, and the state is also committed to protecting and supporting cinema.”

She added, “Cinema has become one of the disciplines that are taught early in secondary schools, and we will reconsider the restructuring of cinematic institutions under tutelage. An independent committee will be formed, national sessions will be prepared, and the concerns of professionals will be addressed.”

And she continued, “We decided to increase the rate of support and reduce the time period for benefiting from the support, and the administrative procedures for filming permits will also be eased.”
