French media reports confirmed that the Tour Club is considering rewarding its former player, Olivier Giroud, after his historic achievement with the French national team in the 2022 World Cup.
Giroud succeeded in snatching the title of the historic scorer for the French national team from the legend Thierry Henry, by scoring 53 goals in his career with the roosters over the course of 11 years in the national team’s jersey.
And according to the French newspaper L’Equipe, the management of the Tour club is considering renaming the team’s stadium, “Wadi Sher”, to the Olivier Giroud stadium, as a reward for the player for what he presented with the French national team.
Giro is preparing to participate with the French national team this evening, Wednesday, to face Morocco in the 2022 World Cup semi-finals, after the roosters qualified at England’s expense.
