Opening registrations in the pension system for expatriates comes into force – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

This Monday, the online portal for the voluntary affiliation of members of the national community abroad with the national retirement system came into service, which enables registrants to obtain retirement according to conditions specified in a special decree.

The Director General of the National Retirement Fund, Jaafar Abdali, confirmed, in a statement to Algerian radio, that the national retirement affiliation grants privileges to members of the Algerian community in terms of benefits in kind, sickness and maternity insurance provided by the national social security system, and they also benefit from retirement benefits.

Abdali referred to the conditions for affiliation with the national retirement system, represented by regular registration at the level of the Algerian consulate, and that the registrant has a paid activity, provided that the application is studied within a maximum period of 15 days.

For reference, the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security had announced in a previous statement the opening of the electronic portal: https://teledeclaration.cnas.dz for members of the national community abroad wishing to voluntarily join the national retirement system, starting from March 06, 2023. It stated that This measure is a dedication to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s commitment No. 51, which provides for the protection of the national community abroad and expatriates and the promotion of their participation in national renewal.
