President Tebboune: Loyalty to the martyrs is a fortress for the cohesion of the social fabric of Algeria – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazairia

Today, Friday, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, sent a message on the occasion of the National Martyr’s Day, which falls on February 18, in which he affirmed that loyalty to the martyrs is a sacred national bond that fortifies the cohesion of the social fabric of Algeria against those who ride the wave of abuse against it.

In his message, President Tebboune considered that “loyalty to the martyrs remains a sacred national bond that fortifies the cohesion of our social fabric, in the face of those who ride the wave of insulting our country, and who are involved in repeating their transgressions and slippages aimed at disrupting the path that we have embarked on, to create sustainable national development in a new and promising Algeria.”

He added that these transgressions aim to “influence Algeria’s positions, and its interaction with its regional and international surroundings, according to the rule of cooperation based on mutual interests, coupled with full respect for the principle of state independence and the concept of equality.”

The President of the Republic affirmed that the most precious asset of the generations of the glorious liberation revolution and the righteous martyrs is “the eternal connection to the November message from which our people derive the ability to reveal the intentions of circles of the heirs of colonial shame, inhabited by their permanent hostility to Algeria.”

And he continued, saying: “If we celebrate the National Martyr’s Day, based on this conviction, which is absent from their accounts, then to remind us of the zeal of our proud people for the sovereignty of the land of the martyrs, and to confirm that Algeria, which is winning at this stage and in all sectors and fields, is the stakes of economic and social development, It will continue on a large scale to promote achievements and consolidate the pillars of a modern state, in which the values ​​of citizenship prevail, in which society enjoys stability and tranquility, and in which it is in the best position to defend its strategic interests.

President Tebboune also emphasized the “pivotal role” played by Algeria, and “its position on the map of the balances of the current regional and international context, and the tension it is witnessing, which has become characteristic of international relations and warns of disturbing repercussions. In order to contribute to the establishment of peace and security in the region and in the world.
