The director of Oran International Airport, Ahmed Ben Bella, revealed that 24 flights have been programmed to transport pilgrims to the Holy Bekaa in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The director of Oran International Airport, Ben Chanine Najib, explained that the programming of this number of flights came to take care of 7,875 pilgrims, from several states in the west of the country, and this took place through several stages.
The same spokesman stated that the first flight will take off in the early hours of next June 02 from Oran International Airport “Ahmed Ben Bella” aboard Air Algerie towards Medina Airport.
Ben Chanine also pointed out that there will be 9 flights on board Air Algérie and 15 others belonging to Saudi Airlines during the period from 2 to 22 June, at a rate of about 300 pilgrims per flight.
It is noteworthy that Saudi Arabia has begun preparations for the Hajj season, including the preparation of tents and the necessary needs for pilgrims, and the first groups were received in Medina yesterday.
