Today, Monday, in a radio session, the spokesman announced the opening of 114 points of sale for red and white meat during the month of Ramadan, and he said that “large quantities of meat will be imported, in anticipation of the month of Ramadan, which is known for a great demand for this material, with the import of cows for fattening and others for slaughter and facilitating the process The arrival of meat from the south to the northern regions at reasonable and thoughtful prices.” He pointed out that “the consumption rate of this substance is estimated at between 45 and 50 thousand tons per month, and this quantity is expected to increase during the month of Ramadan.”

Ben Dridi said, “The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has developed a strategy to accompany loyalists and producers throughout the year, in coordination with all actors in this field, in order to provide this vital material to the consumer, especially during the holy month, and to develop a strategy to develop this division.”

Ben Dridi reassured the Algerian consumer of the availability of plant and animal agricultural materials during the month of Ramadan in large quantities, explaining that “in the field of grain, there will be large quantities available at the level of grain cooperative stores and dry legumes distributed at the national level, and 596 mills will be funded with raw materials, during the month of Ramadan. , with the allocation of 133 points of sale for these materials directly to the consumer at reasonable prices, distributed at the national level.
