Abdel Majid Tebboune, President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defense, chaired today a meeting of the Council of Ministers.
With regard to the agricultural sector, the President of the Republic directed the government to redouble efforts to increase the production of agricultural crops, especially wheat, and to raise the proportion of its production per hectare to 30 quintals, with the aim of achieving self-sufficiency in this strategic material, as soon as possible, given that all conditions are in place to achieve the goal, this season.
The President renewed his directives regarding the liberation of real estate in the forested areas immediately in the state of Tissemsilt, for the completion of rural housing and for owners of agricultural activities.
The President of the Republic also directed his strict instructions to the government to work according to a deep planning view in all sectors, instead of daily management, and to give the utmost importance to the concerns and aspirations of our citizens.
At the end of the meeting, the Council of Ministers approved decrees containing appointments to senior positions in the state.
