Rakhrokh: The new approach will enhance the performance of the Algerian duplication project No. 1 – Al-Hiwar

The Minister of Public Works and Basic Establishments, Lakhdar Rakhroukh, confirmed in Djelfa that the new approach to take care of the additional expenses for the start-up of the works of the duplication project of National Road No.
On the sidelines of his inspection visit to several workshops affiliated with his sector, the minister explained that “this new approach, which is being studied between his ministerial department and the Ministry of Finance, aims — in addition to reviving the works of this delayed strategic project — to accompany the national achievement institutions.”
And he said in the same context, “The new approach to resurrecting the delayed project due to the financial difficulties of the completion institutions resulting from the high prices of the used materials, which (i.e. the approach) will be approved soon, will represent a pillar for the completion institutions, which are a tool for development and a source of strength for the families of thousands of workers.”
And after Rakhrukh was briefed on the recorded situation of the progress of the project in its early stages, before knowing that the works had stopped, which exceeded 50 percent, he stressed the need to develop – after adopting the new approach – an accelerated plan to complete the works in advanced deadlines.
The minister stressed to those in charge of the sector locally the necessity of developing an accelerated plan for the works related to the project.
It is worth noting that the minister, along with the local authorities of the wilaya, traveled on the train on a test trip to the Ain Oussara-Djelfa line at a distance of 100 kilometers, passing through the passenger transport station of the city of Hassi Bahbah, where he praised the quality of achievement, especially those stations.
