Rozik supervises the launch of the Algerian-Mauritanian business forum in Nouakchott – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazairia

The Minister of Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezik, accompanied by the Mauritanian Minister of Trade, Industry, Handicrafts and Tourism, Lamrabet Ould Bennahi, supervised, today, Saturday, in the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott, the inauguration of the Algerian-Mauritanian Economic Forum.
The forum is organized on the sidelines of the Algerian Products Exhibition in Nouakchott, whose activities opened last Thursday and will continue until next Tuesday, through which the two parties hope to “strengthen bilateral relations and trade exchanges between the two countries.”
After being received by Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, last Thursday, Rezik affirmed “Algeria’s complete and absolute readiness, without restrictions, to accompany and assist all Algerian and Mauritanian economic operators,” adding that “everything Mauritania needs, Algeria is fully prepared to meet it.”
The Minister of Trade and Export Promotion also reviewed the progress of negotiations between the Algerian economic operators of the Cement Division with their Mauritanian counterparts in the field, as it was agreed to export 1.6 million tons of clinker cement to Mauritania.
The exhibition aims to “introduce high-quality Algerian products in its various economic sectors, as well as promote them in this brotherly country,” according to the ministry.
