Signing a declaration of intent to strengthen Algerian-Portuguese cooperation – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, accompanied by Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa, signed a declaration of intent to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Algeria and Portugal, according to the results of the talks that brought President Tebboune together with his Portuguese counterpart yesterday, Tuesday, on the first day of his state visit to Portugal.

The signing of the declaration of intent to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Algeria and Portugal, today, Wednesday, at the headquarters of the Portuguese Prime Ministry, came during the signing ceremony of several partnership agreements between the two countries, and the agreements include a memorandum of understanding between Algeria and Portugal in the field of digital government and administrative modernization.

The two parties also signed a cultural exchange program between Algeria and Portugal for the period from 2023 to 2025, as well as a memorandum of understanding between Algeria and Portugal on emerging institutions.
