On Tuesday, April 18, 2023, in the lecture hall of the Ministry, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamal Badari, accompanied by the Minister of Digitization and Statistics, Maryam Ben Mouloud, supervised the signing of a partnership agreement in the field of digital activity, which represents one of the most important development factors in government institutions, because of what it guarantees Innovative solutions that keep pace with the needs of the citizen, and provide the best services to the beneficiaries.
In his intervention, Professor Kamal Badari stressed that the higher education sector is considered a locomotive in the field of governance and digitization of its research and training activities, and it has an information system that contains 700 thousand students, 64 thousand professors and more than 100 thousand employees, and therefore it can be said that the higher education sector is an electronic sector par excellence ” .
Dr. Kamal Badari stressed that the goal of concluding the agreement is to put at the disposal all available human resources that can be exploited in order to improve the citizen’s life and improve the services provided to him.
For her part, Minister of Digitization and Statistics, Maryam Ben Mouloud, affirmed that “the aim of the agreement is to set frameworks for cooperation between the two ministries in the field of developing training and scientific research, as well as valuing the role of universities as a result of the role they play in the field of training frameworks in accounting and statistics.”
It is noteworthy that the government’s action plan stipulates the necessity of accelerating the pace of digitization, generalizing the use of information and communication technologies, and improving the governance of sectors and institutions.
